中新网北京5月18日电 (记者 孙自法)中国科学院5月18日发布消息说，该院第五届科苑名匠5月17日在北京发布并颁奖，共有12个团队和8名个人被授予中国科学院科苑名匠称号。中国科学院副院长、党组副书记吴朝晖出席活动并为获奖代表颁奖。
吴朝晖致辞指出，实现高水平科技自立自强，既离不开战略科学家、科技领军人才的担纲领衔，也离不开大批高技能人才的匠心独运，中国科学院广大职工要以科苑名匠为榜样，坚守科技报国初心，秉承工匠精神，不断提升科技创新能力和关键工程技术攻关水平，为实现高水平科技自立自强和建设世界科技强国作出新的贡献。
中国教科文卫体工会副主席、分党组成员郑晋平致辞表示，中国科学院工会勇于探索、主动作为，聚焦科技创新，开展科苑名匠选树和发布活动，连续两届在中华全国总工会主办的大国工匠创新交流大会中专设科苑名匠展区，展现了科技工作者独特的精神气质。
中国科学院直属机关党委常务副书记房自正宣读表彰决定。第五届中国科学院科苑名匠8名个人分别是生物物理研究所研究员纪伟、地球化学研究所研究员刘建忠、上海应用物理研究所研究员邹杨、沈阳科学仪器股份有限公司研究员汪良、南海海洋研究所研究员尚晓东、南京天文光学技术研究所研究员顾伯忠、成都生物研究所正高级工程师蒋海波、武汉植物园研究员韩月彭。
